Cofnod are pleased to announce the launch of the LERC Wales smartphone app. Based on the iRecord system, it has been adapted by Welsh Local Records Centres to provide a bilingual interface, using your phone’s GPS to locate where you are and an online species dictionary and photo upload to make a note of what you’ve seen. You can access your mobile records through iRecord and the data are synced with our database at Cofnod and the other Welsh LERCs if you’re recording further afield. The app is free to download from Google Play and Apple App Store and we hope you’ll enjoying using it to record our wonderful wildlife when you’re out and about in Wales.
