The PoMS 1 km square survey runs across 95 one-kilometre squares in the UK, and we have a fantastic team of volunteers to carry out these surveys. There are still some squares left that have not yet been 'adopted' for 2024, and they'd love to hear from anyone who might be interested in taking this on.

Green Infrastructure Project Officer Wrexham CBC

Wrexham County Borough Council are looking to appoint a Green Infrastructure project officers to work on biodiversity and nature based projects around the County Borough. The posts are funded through the Welsh Government’s Local Places for Nature funding and form part of our Local Nature Partnership. This work seeks to improve biodiversity across Wrexham, and we are looking for people who have skills, experience and passion to deliver projects that will make this ambition a reality.

Front-end Developer (Aderyn): 0.6FTE (21 hours), 18-month fixed term contract (with possibility of extension). We are seeking an experienced and motivated developer with a solid foundation in front-end development. This unique opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work with a modern and bespoke web platform, built from the ground up specifically to meet the needs of LERC Wales, its partners and customers. The successful candidate will lead development of the front-end of the application with support, direction and training provided by LERC Wales Aderyn Lead Developer and colleagues, but will also have some involvement in the server side of the application.
