Are you interested in finding out more about wildlife? If so, volunteers are needed to help with national or locally run surveys. Sometimes training is available as part of these but our calendar also has details of other training courses, which may help improve your species identification and survey skills. Use the search facility to choose between Surveys , Training , Events or Meetings , or search by date or keywords.
Our calendar is not exhaustive and we need you to send us details of relevant events to keep it up to date. You may also find details of other biodiversity related events on the Wales Biodiversity Partnership website.

30 Days Wild is the UK’s month-long nature challenge which takes place every June, with people signing up to do something wild every day throughout the month. These ‘Random Acts of Wildness’ can be big or small – you may decide to visit one of our nature reserves or you might simply decide to lie on the grass during your lunch break and spend a few minutes cloud-spotting. The key challenge is to take at least a few minutes out of each day to appreciate the natural world around you.
You can sign up to 30 Days Wild right now
