TV presenter and naturalist Chris Packham is to come to North Wales, as part of the first independent audit of its kind in the UK involving Citizen Science. His goal is to highlight the extent to which the nation’s species are under threat.

The North Wales Curlew Action Group need you to report sightings of this highly endangered bird during the breeding season (April-July) in North Wales to assess their numbers and improve their conservation.
We would like you to report where you've seen or heard Curlew. More details are available on the Curlew Cymru project page which Cofnod have set up in time for World Curlew Day on 21st April
Cofnod will be involved with Chris Packham's UK Bioblitz on the 20th July 2018 at Cemlyn,
Great Orme and
Pensychnant Nature Reserve

Dr Liz Halliwell will be talking about the pine marten and whether it may be the answer to all our red squirrel dreams, there will also be a talk from Dr Craig Shuttleworth about his research expedition to Canada where he was exploring grey squirrel management techniques.
Doors will open at 7pm for hot drinks and homemade cake, it is free entry but donations are welcome. Please contact Holly to reserve your place.
