Charles Aron recently received a set of specialist moth reference books, paid for by Cofnod's Biological Recorders' Grant. We hope these books will help Charles identify micromoths in his Vice-county Recorder role. It's great that LERCs can help recorders develop their identification skills and knowledge.

Halkyn Mountain Nature Conservation Group Bioblitz (joint Free event with NWWT; but donations welcome) 10am to 4pm. Sunday 30th June 2019.
Meet at Halkyn Parish Hall; drop in any time during the day for specialist-led guided walks and info about the birds, rocks, wildflowers, butterflies, reptiles and lots more in this special habitat.
Children welcome and kids activities will be run in the Hall. Wear suitable strong shoes/boots and trousers and bring waterproofs. No dogs. Contact Jan Miller for further details.
