Are you passionate about the natural world? Do you enjoy enthusing people about wildlife? Can you inspire individuals to go outdoors to enjoy their local green and blue spaces? If so, this might be the perfect job for you.
Wild Elements aims to develop and re-kindle people’s passion for nature. We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to deliver a variety of environmental projects throughout Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy in North Wales. The successful candidate will engage with individuals, local communities and organisations, ensuring that we provide positive opportunities for people to connect with the natural world. These projects will include forest school sessions; holiday play schemes; themed birthday parties and family and community days. Previous experience of working in an environmental education setting is essential. Wild Elements is committed to working in partnership to achieve its aims and therefore the Community Engagement Officer will need strong skills in partnership building by working with stakeholders, local communities and organisations.
This is a full time post, working 37.5 hours per week. It is a 1 year fixed term contract from the date of employment.
