As President of The Wildlife Trusts since 2020, the first woman to take on the role, Liz Bonnin has been at the forefront of the movement’s mission to protect 30% of land and sea for nature by 2030. From leading conversations on UK nature recovery to fronting ground-breaking documentaries like Drowning in Plastic, Galapagos, and Blue Planet Live, Liz brings powerful insight into the challenges facing our planet. This is a unique opportunity to hear about her extraordinary career, her passion for science and the natural world, and what it’s been like working with The Wildlife Trusts during such a pivotal time. Expect an inspiring, thought-provoking evening of honest conversation.Doors will open at 18:00 with drinks available from the bar and wildlife stalls open for visiting in the Oriel Colwyn exhibition room. The event will begin at 19:00 and finish at 20:30 with the bar staying open until 21:00 when all guests depart.
