Sites Manager

What is Sites Manager?

Sites Manager is Cofnod's newest system, and as it integrates with Orca it is currently only available to Orca users. Its main purpose is to store a range of complex information related to sites, such as site survey schedules and historic documents. Sites Manager therefore provides an excellent tool for anyone managing the site designation or site management process.

A flexible system

As well as displaying key information drawn from Orca, such as the site boundary, the system has been designed to be flexible, allowing users to define 'activities' associated with their sites. These activities could be a series of site visits, including details of when visits took place and by whom, the condition of the site and any photos taken during the visit. As such Site Manager can help to build a record of sites and how they have changed over time. Other activities could include managing a desktop site review, storing the changes made to sites, and decisions made by a review panel. It is also a great place to store historical documents about the site, such as old survey reports, maps and orginal citations, meaning that everything related to a site can be stored in one place and if required made available for others to view.

How can I use Sites Manager?

Sites Manager is only available to Orca users, but if you are interested in seeing what it can do, even if you're not using Orca, please contact us and we'll arrange a demonstration.
