Changes on-board

10 December 2013

At a recent Cofnod Board of Directors meeting Les Starling stepped down from his position as Cofnod’s Chairman. Les, who has been our Chairman since December 2005, has helped steer us through uncertain times and leaves his position at a time when we remain optimistic about our future. The Board of Directors and staff of Cofnod would like to thank Les for his commitment and leadership and we are pleased that he has agreed to continue as a director. Les will be replaced as Chair by Ian Spence, County Bird Recorder for Flintshire and Denbighshire, whilst the consultant ecologist Cathy Wuster, who was welcomed onto the Cofnod Board at the meeting, has agreed to serve as Vice Chair. Our Treasurer, Mike Willis, has also stood down after long service. Our thanks go to him for fulfilling an essential role for the company. The position of Treasurer will be taken by Geoff Radford, who also remains as Company Secretary. For a list of Cofnod’s Board of Directors please visit our ‘About Us’ page.
