Wren © Sean HaightChristmas Quiz 2025 Results
Happy New Year and what a response we received to our 2025 Christmas Quiz! We received a whopping 79 entries and a huge congratulations to the knowledgeability of the four quizzers who got full marks. By way of random a wheel spin, Dave Reed is this year's winner and receives a £20 NHBS voucher. Well done to Ian Hawkins, Chris Harris and Julian Thompson who also scored 10 out of 10.
Interestingly the responses to question 4, regarding the hobby in which Christmas moss is most commonly used, was almost a perfect split between all three answers! The final question concerning the Myrrha octodecimguttata ladybird seemed to garner the widest variety of response with 46 differently worded answers. Hint: the clue was in the scientific name here with octodecim meaning eighteen in post-Classical Latin!
We hope you enjoyed the quiz and we're already preparing some festive trivia for next year 😉
