National Plant Monitoring Scheme- request for surveyors in Wales

11 May 2015

The National Plant Monitoring Scheme (NPMS) is a new habitat-based plant monitoring scheme designed by the Botanical Society of the British Isles, Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Plantlife and Joint Nature Conservancy Committee. The aim is to collect data to provide an annual indication of changes in plant abundance and diversity. The scheme is reliant on volunteers to gather the data in pre-determined 1km squares which you can sign up for and training material and advice is available once you sign up. So if you would like to adopt a square and contribute, please sign up so we achieve good coverage and get the best data possible for Wales. For further details and to register visit the NPMS website.
