The Vincent Wildlife Trust - Conservation strategy to restore the Pine Marten to England and Wales

28 November 2011

The Vincent Wildlife Trust has recently led the completion of a conservation strategy to restore the pine marten to England and Wales. This strategy has been developed in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders and has concluded that pine martens are present at low densities in small areas of England and Wales, but do not appear to be recovering from their historical decline. The strategy highlights priority areas for research and conservation to promote the recovery of the pine marten.

If you would like a copy of the strategy or wish to contribute to its implementation, please contact enquiries@vwt.org.uk.
