The North Wales Wildlife Trust (on behalf the Wildlife Trusts in Wales) is working to re-establish beavers in Wales. The Wildlife Trusts support the return of beavers to ecosystems because they can provide many environmental benefits which will make a big difference to our ecosystems. There are now beavers living in many areas across Britain, including parts of Scotland, England and Wales. More details about the project are available here.
You can help with gathering information on beavers living in the wild by sending in your sightings of beavers or their field signs. Please submit your records to us via the Cofnod Online Recording System. Click Enter Records then choose Welsh Beaver Project from the list.
